Then is stunned to see the whole station explode. Through the Force, he knows Brakiss is dead. The man who had given him purpose, taught him to access his power and had believed in him. Zekk reminds himself that Peckhum believed in him, too.
He is angry at how foolish he was to turn on his friends and fight against them. He had made his choice and is responsible for many deaths today. He doubts his friends, if they even survived, would be able to forgive him. He has one card left to play and decides to head to the Great Temple. The students at the academy are not doing well. Most of them have injuries. She is surprised to see Raynar moving slowly among the injured, helping where he can. He is tending to Tenel Ka right now. Em Teedee explains that she and Lowie were forced to dive from the battle platform.
Lowie caught himself, but she hit her head on a branch. Lowie jumped down to grab her and felt stomach first on the ground. Jacen is nowhere to be found. Jaina knows that Jacen is still alive. They start moving the injured toward the Temple when a shadowy figure emerges and tells them no one enters it.
She tells him to let them in the Temple. They have wounded and the battle is over. He cannot go back to the streets of Coruscant, to the life he led before. He knows too much and has done too much. When she insists he let them inside, he ignites his lightsaber. He raises his above his head. He slowly remembers infiltrating the Great Temple and being bitten by that snake. As it counts down, he heaves himself up, but dizziness overtakes him and he passes out.
He needs a place cleared to land right now. The ship is not doing well, his arm is broken and Jacen is flying. Then the explosions start. From inside the Great Temple, rocks begin to fall. Luke tells them that their mother is trying to come up with a way to station permanent troops here as protection for the academy. They explain that they are anticipating an attack by Zekk and the Shadow Academy.

He warns Brakiss not to underestimate the Jedi. I believe the initial run was supposed to stop with this book; this series ended up continuing for a good 8 more books. I am plugging along with the rest of the series, which will probably bleed into next year oh the plans of January!

This book is a million times better than The Last Jedi. This book could have been made into a film with no explanation of characters and it would still would have been better than The Last Jedi. The Luke Skywalker I know and love is not a pussy. What the fuck is "Force-Skyping"? Finn should have died, Rose is a terrible character and her action figure didn't sell at all during Christmas.

The story seems to wrap up here, which makes me think that the authors only ever intended to write six books in the series.
The character arcs come to conclusion, the major threat is eliminated, and the authors pull everything together well. In the whole book the setting was out side in different planets. First starts in naboo.
Then goes to other planets. The characters are Luke laya chubaca and haun solo and his daughter and son. They are trying to find master yoda and obi one conobe.
But anakin aka earth vader tries to stop them. What the author did best was discribing the characters and what they had to do the author was alwase through the whole book setting goals for the characters. And here we are at the end of the original YJK run of 6 books.

Anderson and Rebecca Moesta did a fine job of tying up all the loose ends of the series while leaving the door open for more adventures.
This book was almost all an epic battle, but that wasn't the entirety of it. What this series, particularly this book did well was redemption. Luke is always trying to redeem fallen characters in the Expan An exciting conclusion to a fun and thought proboking series.
Luke is always trying to redeem fallen characters in the Expanded Universe, and its one of his endearing qualities. In this book, while he failed to redeem Brakiss, his pupil Jaina did a good job of redeeming Zekk.
Jaina and Zekk's relationship, as well as Jacen and Tenel Ka's relationship is probably the best part of the entire series. They play off each other well and portray unique and interesting perspectives that the reader wouldn't ordinarily think of.
As a whole, its a very fun and enjoyable book. It's not as tightly written or as deep as Lightsabers, but its still probably tied with The Shadow Academy for second place.
